One clumsy day, when I fell down the stairs Daisy had to bring the games to me because I couldn't really move. What resulted was a most magical afternoon of drawing and story writing
While Daisy was drawing I noticed she was also chattering away about each thing that she drew so I quickly grabbed my pen and wrote everything down word for word. A lot of drawing and scribbling later I realised that something quite wonderful had been created (well it is to me anyway)
Daisy and Boo almost didn't make it after I left the original in my printer scanner bed and then had to return my broken printer to the shop. Alas it is lost forever and I did shed a few tears to be honest, because I'm a bit silly like that. Luckily I managed to piece it together from the copies I had made to create this forever reminder of a perfect afternoon, apart from the falling down the stairs part of course
So here we have the story of Daisy and Boo, two dogs. Drawing and words by Daisy (age 4), colouring in and writing by Mummy (age, ahem... 37). Hopefully the start of many future Daisy and Mummy collaborations
I'm not a fan of decorating, I have no patience for it at all. I know all the preparation you're supposed to do is probably important, but YAWN. I just really really REALLY wanted white walls!
Phew! Glad that's finished! Well except the ceiling, I couldn't reach, I just won't look up. Now I just need to get over my fear of drilling so I can put some new shelves up for all my colourful treasures
PS - don't forget Father's Day June 15th
