Totally failed in my mummy skills this morning! We were happily counting stones and shells on the bathroom floor when I huge beastly spider ran at me!!! I squealed like a girl and practically jumped in to the bath. Until now I’ve done such a good job of hiding my spider fear that Daisy even tells people I love spiders. I DO NOT. I bravely managed to trap the beast under a glass and pulled myself together enough for us both to examine our prisoner more calmly. |
She's gone to pre-school now and I’m alone with this mahoosive terror, not brave enough to slide the paper under and take him outside. Clearly I need to man up and get the job done but for now I’m just happy to know where he is, i.e. not near my desk and hoping that a friend who is coming round later this morn might be able to deal with him. Shudder!!!
In the meantime I have lots of last minute preparations to do for the Pretty Dandy Flea tomorrow. I’m doing a stall on behalf of Minifolk Market with work from 11 different artists, makers and collectors. Will be a great place to pick up original and quirky gifts for the home or for Christmas if you’re feeling organised. There will be music and a cafe too, I'm super excited!

Hope to see you there! If not I wish you all a brilliant and hopefully spider free weekend
